1. Recently you’ve been elected as the Junior Class President for the 2016-2017 academic school year, how are you feeling about that? What do you have planned?

I’m very humbled for the opportunity to serve as the Junior Class President for the 2016-2017 academic school year. What I have planned is basically to improve the unity of our class, increase male involvement, and just to be an overall vessel for our class as we matriculate into our senior year

2. What’s your favorite college memory so far?

My favorite college memory so far has to be the day I probated into my fraternity, Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Incorporated.

3. What are three things you can’t live without?

I cannot live without music, my friends/brothers, and my immediate family back home.

4. If you could live a book, show, or movie, what would it be and why?

I would definitely have to say Kids Next Door, I always watched that show growing up. The main character’s name is Nigel so I would always call myself Nigel Uno.

5. What is one of your biggest pet peeves?

My biggest pet peeve is not surrounding myself with like minded individuals or being around people who do not represent the same values as I do.

6. Why did you choose to attend NCA&T?

I chose to attend North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University for the fact that it’s a very predominant university and it’s one of the top HBCU’s for engineering.

7.What are your career goals?

My career goal is to work in logistics and management, but as I get older I’ll look into teaching and marketing on the side.

8. What’s your favorite and least favorite quality about yourself?

My favorite quality about myself is definitely my resilience. At the end of the day no matter how challenging things get I always find a way to get the job done. A quality that I do not like about myself is that sometimes I ask for too many opinions and lose hindsight of how I feel.

9. When you feel discouraged or stressed what do you do to lift your spirits?

Honestly, I get alone time and listen to some music. I’ll get into some deep thinking and try to keep moving forward.

10. If you could give the younger you any advice, what would it be?

Just have fun. Don’t be hard on yourself because you have great potential, so just have fun while you can.

11. What’s your favorite quote?

“The true measurement in a leader is not in the successes he gains but in the amount of leaders he produces in his followers.” -Anonymous

Hi everyone! I am a sophomore at North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University who should be majoring in Weddings, but is actually a Journalism & Mass Communications student with a concentration in Multimedia. Originally I am from Woodbridge, Virginia, which is about 30 minutes south of our nation’s capital. I have lived here all my life, but I’m not afraid to branch out and explore the world. This past summer I studied abroad in Sydney, Australia to engage and immerse myself in Australian culture. The experience was phenomenal and I’m already counting down the days until I can return that beautiful country. Check out my Tumblr, Instagram, Pinterest, and Facebook.
