Multi-platinum, Grammy Award-winning R&B singer Chris Brown announced his 2018 tour “Heartbreak on a Full Moon Tour”, with H.E.R and Rich the Kid. Starting June 19th through August 4th, Chris toured 28 different states Nationwide. Brown dropped his 7th solo album in November 2017, featuring 45 hit songs.

I interviewed a few Aggies who went to see Chris in concert and this is what they had to say about their experience;

           “I went to the July 10th  concert in Raleigh, North Carolina. I’ve been a Chris Brown fan since I was a little girl, so when I heard he was coming to where I lived, I knew I had to go. So, I got my tickets immediately. I liked Chris’ entire set. He maintained good energy all the way throughout, and even brought Royalty out at the end! Everybody had good vibes and turnt’ up. I didn’t like the other acts. H.E.R. can sing but her set felt longer than Chris’ set. It was insane. I would have rather just seen him. Overall, I give the experience an 8/10. The venue was decent, the crowd’s energy was there, but the other acts I just didn’t care for honestly, which is why I gave it an 8 instead of a 10.”

“I went to the concert on July 10th that the Coastal Credit Music Park. I went to a previous concert back in 2011 (FAME Tour). So, I decided it was time to see his performance. I really liked his visuals, choreography, openers, set list, vocals and the stage set up. I disliked how short his set was, I feel like another hour would’ve been great because he definitely has enough hits to satisfy all fans. My overall experience was amazing! He performed the old songs and the new hits we all know him for. The production was amazing and the best part was on the ending of “Pills and Automobiles” when the beat drops and water literally pops out from the stage on beat. It was amazing and interactive for a reason.”

           “I went to the July 10th Concert in Raleigh, NC and July 13th in Virginia Beach, VA. My first reason for wanting to see Chris Brown in concert is because well, he’s Chris Brown! Hello! I had never been to an outside concert before. Not only that, I didn’t even attend my first concert until freshman year of college during homecoming. This summer I wanted to do more things and this was just something on my bucket list. I went a second time because my best friend’s mother surprised her with 2 tickets, so I had to go again! I loved the choreography and the background graphics of the whole entire performance. Everything was nice, coordinated and the concert started on time both times! I disliked that I had lawn seats. It wasn’t too bad, but I just know the people at the stage were having the time of their lives! I liked them both the same because they were both the exact same thing. I will say the second time I sat in an actual chair versus my blanket. My overall experience was a 9/10! I only give it a 9 because of my seating which is my fault, but the entire concert was nice! I enjoyed it a lot both times!”

A singer, performer, creative director, artist and business owner, you name it.  Chris Brown has such an amazing impact on his fans in a major way. We love Chris for his versatility and stage presence. I wonder what Chris has in store for us next time. Will it be another 45 song album? Or an International tour? We will just have to wait and see!
