5 Reasons You Go to NCAT

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at NCAT chapter.

Going to the #1 HBCU in the world is something to definitely to take pride in. However, there are some struggles that us Aggies can identify with. Enjoy some laughs and check out below 5  struggles that students at A&T deal with.

#1 The Caf

You go just to get disappointed by the food selection every time.

#2 The locals

They are always stirring up trouble, especially around homecoming. When A&T is flooded with locals and you’re not even sure who actually goes here or not.

#3  The everyday fashion show

It may be subtle, but everywhere you go you will find atleast one girl with a prom makeup on her face and a nightclub outfit on. Some A&T guys and girls always have the need to dress to impress. For those of us who prefer leggings and sweatshirts every now and then this can get a little annoying.

#4  The construction

Finding alternate routes to avoid all the construction on campus.

#5  Running out of flex

When you ball too hard and you’re stuck without flex for the last couple of months of the semester.

Hi everyone! I am a sophomore at North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University who should be majoring in Weddings, but is actually a Journalism & Mass Communications student with a concentration in Multimedia. Originally I am from Woodbridge, Virginia, which is about 30 minutes south of our nation’s capital. I have lived here all my life, but I’m not afraid to branch out and explore the world. This past summer I studied abroad in Sydney, Australia to engage and immerse myself in Australian culture. The experience was phenomenal and I’m already counting down the days until I can return that beautiful country. Check out my Tumblr, Instagram, Pinterest, and Facebook.
