5 Winter Fashion Must Haves

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Mville chapter.

Although the weather here in New York is forever changing each day, winter is approaching. It’s time to say goodbye to your favorite lighter fall attire and bring out cozy, warm pieces! Here are five must have fashion pieces for winter.

  1. Warm Sweaters I love wearing my sweaters during the winter. Not only is it warm and cozy, but they can look really stylish. You can find sweaters that have different patterns or sweaters that vary in length. Some of my favorite sweaters can be found at H&M!
  2. Scarves Scarves are a must! Not only do they keep your neck warm which will prevent you from getting sick, but they look really nice with a lot of outfits! You can get solid colors or even get cute patterned ones for the holiday season. Your options are endless! I personally like to get my scarves at Target!
  3. Warm Jacket A heavy jacket is one of the most important pieces to have! You don’t always have to get one that looks boring. You can find cute ones with faux fur and some cute accents. I love the winter jackets from Garage!
  4. Snow Boots When it snows, you can not be wearing your favorite riding boots or converse. You need something to help you keep your grip and gets through all the wet slush. I always loved the snowboots from Timberland.
  5. Beanies I use to never like beanies, but once I realized the endless options of colors, quotes, and patterns I became obessed! Beanies are meant to keep your head nice and warm since they’re super knit and sturdy. I love purchasing my beanies from Cotton On.
