15 Things To Do To Make October Fabulous!

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Mville chapter.

If you are like me, October is one of your least favorite months. I don’t like it because the weather is weird and it starts to get cold. It’s also the official end of summer. So here are 15 things to do to help you make it to the end of October in one piece and get you there happy! Enjoy!

  1. Put together a cute fall outfit! Cute socks and pretty sweaters always make an outfit look cute!
  2. Go to Starbucks and get a pumpkin spice latte.
  3. Go apple picking. You may end up with more apples than you know what to do with but that is just part of the fun!
  4. Build a leaf pile and jump in it! Acting like a little kid is always a stress revealer.
  5. Show your school spirit and go to Red Madness!
  6. Have a picnic in Central Park before it gets too cold! Take the bus to the city with a blanket and food.
  7. Put together your Halloween costume. The more creative the better!
  8. Speaking of Halloween, go to 200 Nights.
  9. Get a pumpkin and carve it! It will look great in your window with a fake candle!
  10. Go see a scary movie to get in the Halloween spirit! Or if scary movies aren’t your thing watch Hocus Pocus or the Halloweentown movies! They are all good classic Halloween movies.
  11. Spend some time with your family during Fall Fest!
  12. Go on a ghost-walk or to a haunted house!
  13. Get a manicure in a nice dark color. Since it is fall you can rock dark nails again!
  14. Think about how Thanksgiving is only a month away! All the food and family! And you can’t forget about the parade!
  15. Daydream about Christmas, personally my favorite holiday! It is only 2 months away! You can think about no school and presents!
