Over the summer, my love for reading was revived. In the past few months, I have read quite a few new books and some of them were absolutely unforgettable. Without further ado, here are three must read novels that you need on your shelf.

    1. Don’t Turn Around by Michelle Gagnon

Noa Torson is a brilliant hacker and all-around computer whiz. When she wakes up on an operating table in an abandoned warehouse that is surrounded by guards, she has to use her brains to escape. Alongside fellow hacker and tech savvy companion, Peter, Noa must unravel the truth behind her kidnapping before she is captured again. Don’t Turn Around is a fast paced, edge-of-your-seat thriller that is hard to put down

     2. Runaways by Brian K. Vaughan

Runaways is a Marvel graphic novel that chronicles the lives of Alex, Niko, Molly, Karolina, Gertrude and Chase as they learn that everything is not what it seems. Surrounded by supervillains, the six teens decided they need to fight back and be the good the world needs. With gorgeous illustration and clever writing, Runaways is hit even if you are not a Marvel fan (like me).

        3. Aristotle and Dante Discover the Secrets of the Universe by Benjamin Alire Sáenz

From the second they met, Aristotle and Dante became inseparable. They are what could be considered harmonious opposites. Aristotle struggles with his family, fitting in, and his self-esteem. Dante seems to always have it all together. As the years go on, the friendship takes both boys on a long and winding road full of life altering experiences, cross country trips, and delightfully awkward teen angst. Aristotle and Dante Discover the Secrets of the Universe is beautifully written and somehow simultaneously both heart wrenching and heartwarming
