I love photography and that’s why I spend so much of my time looking at the work of different photographers. Where I live, we are in lockdown and so my options to develop my photography skills are limited to staying indoors. I’ve always liked portrait photography so I thought that this was a perfect time for me to try and look for inspiration for some creative portrait ideas which I could use for some self-timer photos. Some of these are also to inspire me for later when this pandemic hopefully ends.

After spending hours on Instagram looking through multiple photography accounts, I decided to tell you about the three portrait photographers I follow to get inspiration from, or you can just admire their photos when you’re bored.

Flannery Underwood

Flannery is a great photographer and her photos are creative and sleek. Looking through her feed I am inspired to go outdoors and take amazing photos. One of my favorite posts by her is this one.

Jessica Kobeissi

Jessica was the first photographer I followed on Instagram. She also has a really great YouTube channel and has some awesome videos on there. She also collaborates with other photographers there. She has some great shoots and gives tips and tricks to beginners and amateurs like me which has been really helpful. So if you’re even remotely interested in photography you should check her out. One of my favorite posts by her is this one.

Brandon Woelfel

Brandon Woelfel has a distinct photography style and editing on his photos. If you see a photo by him, you’ll know it’s his if you’ve ever seen his feed before. He plays around a lot with light and flowers and creative ideas. Check this post out to see the kind of photos he takes.

I hope their feeds inspire you if you’re interested in photography or looking for ideas for a photoshoot with your friend to up your Instagram game.
