Thanksgiving is one of the most fashionable times of the year! Holidays are always fun for young girls and women when it comes to dressing up nicely and posting cute pictures on social media. “Gobble gobble” captions and all. There are lots of fashion trends to follow this holiday season with color schemes, Pinterest boards and store sales. Get out your wallets ladies, we’re going shopping!

Here’s a list of the best outfit trends this Thanksgiving:

1. Brown Leather

Brown leather is back and better than ever! The color brown is a popular choice for the autumn season. Plus, you get to match the color of your turkey dinner at Thanksgiving. Leather is known to be somewhat expensive, but you can find a nice, affordable leather and look classy all at the same time. You can style brown leather in multiple ways. Some options include a fancy leather jacket to complete your look, a comfy pair of pants to compliment your sweater or if you wanna be supermodel stylish, go with a brown leather top! Leather can come off as an uncomfortable piece of clothing sometimes, but then again, no one said being fashionable was easy.

Some more affordable, off-brand brown leather you could find at your local Target stores, Amazon Prime and Zara.

2. Oversized Sweaters

Oversized sweaters are a MUST throughout the fall and winter seasons! Sweaters go with so many different kinds of clothing. This Thanksgiving, you can be as comfortable as possible with oversized sweaters. You can match up with soft leggings (perfect for all the food you’ll consume), a ripped pair of jeans or a short skirt with stockings! Sweaters check off everything you want in an outfit: it’s cute, it’s comfortable and it’s most likely easy to find at stores. There are also different kinds of sweaters you can choose from. They come in different patterns, levels of thickness or they can be considered turtleneck sweaters. Sweaters are something everyone should have at least one pair of in their closets, especially during the holiday season.

The best prices for oversized sweaters can be found at Target, Kohls and Aéropostale.

3. Low-Top Boots

Soft boots have been around for a very long time, especially this time of year. Ugg boots almost define the holidays. Whether you’re asking for a pair or wearing them everywhere you go. These low-top boots are the perfect pair of shoes to just slip on right as you’re running out the front door. They’re perfect for basically everything. Grocery shopping, holiday dinners, hanging out with friends, etc. This is certainly not the last time we’ll be seeing these cute little boots this season. Nowadays, you have a variety of options to choose from. You can go the basic route with the standard mid-rise length boot, you can do the mini low-tops that are IN right now, or they have a new kind of style; platform Uggs. From the variety of colors and how they match with almost everything, these low-top boots are just the thing for you this holiday season. Heels at holidays are out, go with the platform Uggs!

You can find these cute mini Ugg boots at your local Macy’s, Journey’s or the Ugg store.

4. Blazers

Blazers are such an iconic, sophisticated look all year round. This Thanksgiving, we’re coming in hot with our big girl jackets! The blazer jacket has many stylish options to choose from. My personal favorite is checkered blazers which give off dark academia vibes. Any color blazer fits the fall look this holiday season. Whether you go black, brown, gray or checkered, you cannot go wrong with this look. Blazers are fancy jackets that help complete your full look. It’s one of those items of clothing that you can never go wrong with. You can pair them with a crewneck, a graphic tee or a chic sweater. If you do plan on wearing a blazer with your Thanksgiving outfit, I do highly recommend taking it off at dinner time. Don’t wanna spill the gravy on it!

You can find affordable blazers on the Shein website, Target or Forever 21.
