Meet Sara Leung, a freshman here at Montclair State. Sara is involved in the organization known as Recboard that is sponsored by the Student Recreation Center. She has been a member since the fall semester. This organization holds activities on campus such as; the Price is Right, Minute to Win it and Trivia Bowel. Sara exclaims, “These are such fun activities and games to sponsor and everyone seems to enjoy them!” Recboard also participates in volunteering for charity such as, visiting local soup kitchens, cleaning up the environment and donating and knitting blankets to children in need.
Sara describes her personality as a happy, outgoing, upbeat kind of girl. She loves being around people and untimely adores helping others. Her dream jobs consist of a career in which she can assist and aid people through life. She states, “This would be my number one priority.” When Sara is not in class, she enjoys going to the gym and working out on campus, reading a great novel outside and hanging out with the people who mean the most to her like her close family and friends.
Sara wishes to continue to be apart of Recboard throughout her college career here at Montclair State. She gladly enjoys devoting her extra time to this organization. She highly recommends anyone to join this organization. She states, “It’s a lot of fun and you will not regret it!”
