In honor of Scandal returning from its winter break, we’ve decided to celebrate in style of course. Kerry Washington, who plays Olivia Pope, in the hit show Scandal, has been praised for the fabulous fashion choices her character makes. Anyone who watches the show knows what we are talking about. How could you not love Olivia Pope’s fashion sense? Face it, you want to be her and have her closet. Unfortunately, we are still collegiettes with a collegiette budget and can’t possibly afford the hefty price tags on the pieces Washington wears. So, Her Campus Montclair went ahead and found a few pieces at a much more affordable price.
Let’s start with Olivia Pope’s amazing coats. No one wears a coat better than she does. Her coat just completes her outfit. Remember that fab Burberry trench coat Olivia wore in episode 215, “Boom Goes the Dynamite?” Yeah, THAT episode and THAT coat. Both unforgettable and we found a gorgeous trench coat at a much more affordable price at H&M for $69.95.
How about that gorgeous gown she wore in the same episode? Well we found something pretty close to the design of the dress. It’s a shorter version and of course cheaper at ASOS for $97.86.
