Back with yet another article about Star Wars. This week we will be talking about Revenge of the Sith. This movie was the last episode in the trilogy to be released, but officially it was the sixth movie to be put out. It made roughly 300 million in the box office and was released on May 12th, 2005. Out of most of the fans there is talk that this movie is one of the best movies in the prequels, for good reason.

The movie starts in space in the middle of a battle, we see Anakin and Obi-Wan flying their ships on their attempts to save emperor palpatine. We see them struggling a bit to get onto the ship and see them crash onto the landing pad, they are then traveling through the ship to get to his location to send him. Once they get to Palpatine, Count Dooku is there to stop them. They are then put into a battle that Obi-Wan gets knocked out from leaving Anakin alone and being baited into killing Dooku by the chancellor.

After they save the chancellor, Anakin and Obi-wan go back to Coruscant, we find out during that time that Padme is now pregnant with none-other than Anakin’s child. We then travel with Anakin and see that the council gives him a seat at the Jedi council but not the role of Master which has never happened before; they then ask him to spy on the chancellor which the two of them had gotten quite close to. Obi-Wan is sent to a planet to search for general grievous, he soon finds out that he is hiding on the planet and goes to confront him. Throughout the rest of the film we see Obi-Wan fighting the General and we also find out from Anakin that Chancellor Palpatine is the sith lord the Jedi were looking for.

Ending the film, we see Anakin turning to the darkside, doing things we wouldn’t have expected him to do. Padme goes to Mustafar to try and talk to Anakin to bring him back, not knowing that Obi-Wan had snuck on board. The two of them then fight, which is the reason a lot of fans love this particular movie. Unfortunately Padme ends up dying but the fandom isn’t sure why, it is a toss-up between being too sad and losing the will to live and having her life force drained to keep Darth Vader (Anakin) Alive.

The Story Continues; May the Force be with you.
