Every year Minnesota State University, Mankato holds a Campus and Community Fair. The annual fair houses local businesses, community agencies and student organizations with one goal in mind: to get students involved.
For the second time, Her Campus participated in the fair. However, this time around we wanted to do something different to attract more students to our table. We came up with the brilliant idea to hand out frosted sugar cookies…. Because who doesn’t like frosted sugar cookies? The only thing students had to do for a sugar cookie was add us on Snapchat. Easy, right?
Well, it turned out everyone loved sugar cookies. We started out with 100 cookies and ended with none, gained over 60 Snapchat friends, and got email addresses from 57 girls who wanted more information about Her Campus MNSU.
Her Campus MNSU wants to thank EVERYONE who stopped at our table to learn about our organization. We’d also like to extend an invitation to our informational BBQ on the P.A. Lawn next Wednesday, Sept.14 from 4-6 pm. There may not be frosted sugar cookies there but you should still stop by for some free food!
