What do you love about your Major?: It blends theatre with our increasingly digital world, allowing for expanded creative expression. It also gives you a chance to learn more about the production side of theatre as well as film. Communications is fun because it really breaks down the fundamentals of how people relate to each other through language and image. It really provides super interesting theories as to how we get our points across! #DoubleMajor5EverBest memory at MMC: Best memory at MMC so far has been any moment I got to hang-out with my roommates from last year! Between having knitting nights and learning the Times Square Applebee’s doesn’t do half-apps, they are really the best memory. What can I say? We’re such a squad! Shout out to the DTM!
Fave Class You’ve Taken: Script Analysis with (the homie) Drayton Hiers because we learned so much about life and theatre all at the same time. It was definitely more fun than any other class I’ve taken.Advice for freshman: Don’t be afraid to really be yourself, especially in class! If you have a thought that seems out there but applies definitely say it. Sometimes you might be wrong, but that’s totally okay! It’s why we’re in college, to learn and make mistakes.
