With all of this downtime, I have definitely watched many movies and TV shows, some new and some old. At times, I binged them, setting aside full days to watch full seasons of shows, or even watching every movie from certain actors or actresses. Here’s the list, and I highly recommend watching every one of these:
- Jane the Virgin

I started watching this because I was looking for new things to watch and I had heard it was a zany, hilarious, and cute show. Yeah, they were right. That’s exactly what it was. Rooting for Jane and Rafael to get together through the whole show was hard when Michael was a prominent character, but I still did it! I binged this show in one month because I couldn’t stop watching.
- New Girl

I am actually in the middle of watching this right now, with only 3 seasons left. I’m one to get emotionally attached to characters, and that definitely happened to me with Nick and Jess. This show is absolutely hilarious, and I honestly started watching it because I was feeling really down and needed a laugh. New Girl makes me die of laughter and it’s also the cutest show. I am excited to keep watching, but that also means I am getting closer to the end, and I am not ready.

I finally got around to watching this!! Ever since it came out, I have been obsessed with Baby Yoda, and people kept telling me I needed to watch the show, but I just never had time. My boyfriend watched it with me, this being his second time watching it. The show is so good!! And now season 2 is coming out at the end of October?! Yes!!! I can’t wait.

We’ve definitely all watched some of this iconic show before and loved it. We all have some Alex Russo in us. I hadn’t seen it in years and having Disney +, I wanted to take a trip down memory lane. This was one of my favorite shows when I was younger and I loved watching it again.
- Gravity Falls

Another show that was iconic and fun to watch when it was on Disney Channel years ago. My boyfriend and I watched this together too, and we loved revisiting how this show originally made us feel. It’s so creative, funny and crazy, and definitely should’ve lasted more than 2 seasons.
- High School Musical The Musical: The Series

I have definitely watched this multiple times, with this being my 5th time watching the whole show through. Another example of characters that I get emotionally attached to, Ricky and Nini. I just want season 2 to come out! The suspense and wait is killing me. I am so excited for it.

This will always be one of my favorite movies and I watched it 3 times? Yeah, 3 times. It has the most wholesome story and I never fail to cry. I will always love this adorable and really good movie.

Timothee Chalamet is my favorite actor of all time, and he’s also my celebrity crush. Cause, like come on, he’s extremely handsome. All of his movies are fantastic and he is such a phenomenal actor. I absolutely cannot wait for his new upcoming movies, The French Dispatch, Dune and Going Electric. There are also talks of him playing young Loki in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and I am completely here for it.
Watching movies and TV shows make me feel better a lot of the time, cheering me up and taking my mind off of other matters. I am so glad I’ve watched these TV shows and movies because they’ve all brought something new to the table, expanding my movie and TV show knowledge.
