Collegiettes™, meet this week’s Campus Cutie, Theo Keith. This accomplished senior reports for both KOMU-TV and KMOX Radio. He’s the founder and managing editor of KCOU’s news department here on campus and is a TA for broadcast students doing radio work at the state capitol. Without further ado, here’s everything you need to know about Theo.

Major: Broadcast Journalism and Political Science

Hometown: Saginaw, Mich.

Relationship status: Single

The most romantic thing he’s ever done for a girl: “I spent an afternoon sliding down steep hills, wading through a creek and getting muddy in a rainstorm to shoot some sweet video for someone.”

Quote he lives by: “Whatever you are, be a good one.” — Abraham Lincoln

Who would play him in a movie about his life? “Topher Grace. I’m told we look and act similarly.”

Theo in three words: “Good guys win.”

Proudest moment: “Other than becoming a Campus Cutie, I just won a national award for a story I did last year about an issue that’s a big part of who I am. It’s an incredible feeling getting to tell peoples’ stories.”

Best memory from KOMU: “Anytime there’s a blooper — and it’s definitely happened to me. I’ve learned to laugh at myself, something I wasn’t very good at a few years ago.”

Plans for after graduation: “Cover business, politics and breaking news as a TV reporter. I’m looking in the Midwest, but there are a lot of great cities and stations across the country.”
