The College Bucket List You Absolutely Need

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Mizzou chapter.

College can go by in a flash. You only have four years. I mean, think about how fast high school went by. You want to make sure you can make the absolute most of your time in college while you’re here. I would recommend picking a handful of these ideas that excite you the most and go for it!

  • Join five clubs
  • Play a new sport
  • Join a sorority or fraternity
  • Study abroad (Europe is calling your name)
  • Eat at every dining hall
  • Jump in a fountain
  • Live on campus (even if it is in Hatch…)
  • Take a weekend trip with your friends
  • Tailgate
  • Go to a football game and cheer on our tigers
  • Go on a spring break trip
  • Take a picture with your school mascot. Truman would love it.
  • Pull an all-nighter
  • Picnic on the quad
  • Run a 5k around campus
  • Take an exercise class. The rec has some really fun ones.
  • Try new foods
  • Become a tour guide
  • Volunteer
  • Attend a concert on campus
  • Go to a formal dance
  • Attend a game of each sport on campus
  • Celebrate a holiday on campus
  • Crash a party
  • Do karaoke
  • Dye your hair
  • Make a scrapbook
  • Take a nap in the library
  • Go hiking
  • Learn a new language
  • Dress up for a Halloween party

There is something on this list for everyone. Your bucket list should keep you occupied on some boring days when you are lonely or homesick. From super crazy tasks, to napping in the library, choosing a handful of these ideas is very doable, especially because you have four whole years to do them.
