Steve Jobs: Founder of all things Apple, multibillionaire, just another human being.

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Mizzou chapter.

Steve Jobs, inventor of Apple, died Oct. 5, 2011. He was just 56 years old. Steve battled cancer for years, and that Wednesday he lost his battle. He co-founded Apple in 1976 and took off from there with new and surprising gifts to the world.

In 1984 the Macintosh came about, and in 1998 the iMac was introduced. In just 10 short years, Steve took us from iPod to iPad2. The Nano, the iPhone, the iPad. It’s amazing how far our world has come in such a small amount of time. We’ve experienced a revolution in the way we talk on the phone, listen to music and use the Internet. Steve Jobs is the one who made that happen.

Every Mizzou collegiette™knows Steve Jobs made a huge difference in the way we learn. At MU we have incorporated Apple technology into our curriculum and can purchase many of their devices each year at our Tiger Tech bookstore. Because of that we can now learn in newer, faster and more exciting ways.
Thank you Steve Jobs.
