The University of Missouri celebrated the lives of the 11 students who have passed away in the last academic year in Stotler Lounge on Friday, April 8. Since its creation in 2002, MU Remembers has become an annual ceremony during which Mizzou commemorates lives lost within the University community. This year, these included nine undergraduates and two graduate students. Matthew Bazoian, Mason Cummins, Eric Krieger, Caitlyn LeClerc, Michael Miller, Jonathan Morgan, Norman Nolen, Daniel Schatz, Scott Schmitt, Ian Thomas and Caitlin Valora were all honored with a slideshow set to “What a Wonderful World” and speeches given by faculty members. The many attendants included family members, students, community members and faculty members, all coming together to remember the lives of those lost.
