Farmers Market hosted by the Wellness Resource Center on Lowry Mall

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Mizzou chapter.

The Farmer’s Market stations itself in Lowry Mall on Thursday September 6, 2012. The market is sponsored by the Wellness Center at the University of Missouri to promote healthy eating while benefitting the Columbia community. The market will be back on Thursday October 25 from 10:00am to 2:00pm.

Sophomores Sami Tellatin and Sam Guccione pick out cinnamon roles and zucchini bread from one tent at the market.

Jars decorated with red and green full of pickled peppers line a table. Preserves, sauces and other goods line the tables, creating a colorful sight for any onlooker at Lowry Mall.
