Check It Out: Spring Break Swimwear

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Mizzou chapter.

Spring break is approaching quicker than you think. Actually, you probably already know this with your diets and tanning regiments started since we got back from winter break. That being said, you need bathing suits to show off your beach-ready body in. Everyone goes to Target or Victoria’s Secret for their swimwear, so if you don’t want to match your swimwear with tons of other girls in PCB, Gulf Shores, Cancun…etc., here are some retailers to check out for the coolest bikini on the beach.

Swell was launched in 1999 to put a spotlight on surf brands and support the “surf lifestyle.” The site offers free shipping on orders over $50, which is a low minimum considering how many suits it has to choose from. Swell offers brands such as L*Space, Billabong, Wildfox, and many others you most likely haven’t heard of unless you’re a SoCal surfer.

Beach Bunny is the place to look if you’re looking for a unique suit and you’re willing to splurge. The designer bathing suits offered are unlike others you will find in most stores. If you’re willing to spend $100-$400 for originality, Beach Bunny is where to look.

Ebay and Etsy sell anything you can think of, including cute bathing suits for great prices. Buying on sites like these can be risky, so make sure you look for sellers with high ratings before purchasing. If you do your research on the seller and item before making an impulse buy, a trendy suit for the right price will result.
