Feb 10, 2011
Stars: Rachel McAdams, Channing Tatum, Sam Neil
Genre: A romantic drama that will most likely have you reaching for tissues and wanting your own love story.
Similar to: The Notebook, Dear John, The Last Song
Plot: It’s based on the real life story of Kim and Krickitt Carpenter, whose car was hit from behind by a fast-moving truck two months after their marriage on Nov. 24, 1993. Krickitt received a massive head injury that left her in comma for two months. Upon awakening, Krickitt remembered her family and friends but not her husband, Kim. Though many other couples would have called it quits, Kim and Krickitt managed to reconstruct their lives and marriage and fall in love once again. The Vow proves there is nothing like a great love story – especially a real one. With its release just in time for Valentine’s Day, The Vow is perfect for a date night or girls’ night out. Just remember to pack the tissues.
