Isolation is Kali Uchis’ debut album that we’ve been waiting for. Her first EP, Por Vida, was released back in 2015. The Colombian-American singer showcased her indie pop sound to the world with favorite tracks “Lottery,” “Know What I Want,” and “Ridin Round.” You might also know her from featuring on Tyler the Creator’s “Perfect,” or more recently touring with Lana Del Rey. She’s been one of my favorite artists for many reasons and her sense of style both in her performances and music videos is one of them. Her music is relaxing but also passionate and each track tells a story. Her newest album lived up to her signature sound.
