Summer is around the corner, and you can be very sure you’ll find me laying by the pool and recuperating from this past semester. I cannot wait to break out all the dresses and shorts, and just soak up the sun.

Summer is by far one of the most exciting seasons, but it’s extremely important to take the most care of yourself during this season.  While you’re working on that summer glow, make sure that you keep your locks hydrated and you skin moisturized. Here are some products that can help with all your summer needs.

Keep Oil Under Control

Make sure to get a face wash that’s low on salicylic acid, and that moisturizes as well.

Neutrogena Deep Clean Cream Cleanser (Around $5.99)

Clinque Comforting Cream Cleanser ($19.50)

Keep Hair Hydrated

Make sure to do a hair conditioning treatment at least once a week to keep hair from drying out in the sun. (ESPECIALLY if you have colored hair!)

Pantene 2 Minute Moisture Mask  (Around $6)

Kiehl’s Sunflower Color Preserving Deep Recovery Pak (Around $25.00)

Protect Your Skin

As a lover of tanning, I know that this is not only important for your skin, but for your health as well.

Hawaiian Tropic Shimmer Effect (Around $9.99)

Shisiedo Ultimate Sun Protection Cream (Around $40)

Keep Makeup Minimal

Summer is the best time to keep it natural. Since it’s hotter, you’ll most likely sweat, causing dirt and makeup to seep into your pores.

Garnier BB Cream Miracle Skin Perfector (Around $10)

Smashbox Camera Ready BB Cream SPF 35 (Around $40)

Along with your skin and hair in check, make sure to eat right and stay hydrated. Happy Summer!
