How would you describe your style?
Minimalist with little edge. I love mixing tomboyish styles with feminine details like gold jewelry, chiffon, and bright lips. Denim, basic tees, blazers, and black leather make up the bulk of my wardrobe. Oh and shoes. I love shoes.
What are your favorite clothing stores in the Twin Cities?
I do most of my shopping online, but Minneapolis has a couple awesome vintage/thrift stores–if you dig hard enough you can find a hidden gem. I would recommend Valu Thrift, Savers, Unique, B-Squad Vintage, Lost and Found, and Up Six if you’re looking for something that’s one-of-a-kind.
What are some style trends that you notice on campus?
I’ve noticed denim jackets, sheer tops, ombre hair, colored denim, and chunky bracelets. I’ve also noticed a lot of dudes have this skater meets lumberjack thing going on…Vans, Supreme, Duluth packs, plaid/gingham shirts, slim pants. They are definitely stepping up their game.
