Her Campus decided to change things up and sat down with one of our own. This week’s Campus Celebrity is Robbie Goldovich from Ask Robbie & Bri. We found out a little more about our resident source of advice.

Name: Robbie Goldovich

Year: Senior

Major: Speech Communication, public relations

Hometown: I hail from the lovely town of West Chester, PA.

Siblings: I have an older brother named Mike. He’s 25, and I’m often told by others how good looking they think he is.

As a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up? What didn’t I want to? be is a better question. Haha I wanted to be a train engineer, a marine biologist, a whale trainer, a police officer, and/or a rock star.

Favorite past time as a kid? Playing kickball and tag, jumping in leaf piles and building forts with the other kids in my neighborhood, and going on bike rides. I also picked up a guitar for the first time at the age of 6.

How did you get involved with University Choir? I started out as a Music Business and Technology major. Millersville has several stellar choral groups, and university choir was the best fit for me.

What is your favorite thing about University Choir? We get to do awesome things such as sing the National Anthem at Phillies games. I’ve had the chance to do that twice in my time here at Millersville.

What would you say to someone interested in joining University Choir? We meet Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 12 to 12:50. University Choir meets in Jefferson Hall in room G10. There are usually anywhere between 110 to 130 members of University Choir. University Choir is a class which you can register for to receive 1/2 credit. That doesn’t mean you have to take it as a class though. You can just show up to every rehearsal with a black binder in hand, ready to sing.

What are your post Millersville plans? I plan on getting an internship with either the Mayor’s Office of Special Events here in Lancaster or as a copy writer for 160 Over 90, a branding agency located in Philadelphia. I hope to earn a career with aforementioned branding agency as well.

What are some fun facts about yourself? I’m a kid at heart. I get excited over little things. I just like to joke around and have fun, and I’m very approachable. I’m also “that guy” that you see around campus walking to class. Sometimes when people meet me they’ll be like “I feel like I’ve seen you before.” I never know if it’s a good thing or a bad thing and it catches me off guard every time, but it’s a conversation-starter and I do like to talk to people.
