Ranking the Harry Potter Houses, But in the Most Obscure Ways

Recently, my friends and I have been on a bit of a personality test kick. Harry Potter houses especially have become a topic of many conversations and we have not failed to acutely judge anyone that is persuaded to tell us their house. Before you go on, might I suggest you take the quiz to accurately follow along?

So, from a truly cunning Slytherin, may the odds of your rankings be ever in your favor.

best to introduce to mom

1. Hufflepuff: Duh, they are so sweet.
2. Ravenclaw: Mom will love the academic.
3. Gryffindor: May put up a front, but once down, Mom will love them.
4. Slytherin: Most likely to vanish in the middle of dinner.

best to join a book club with

1. Ravenclaw: Will talk for hours about several books.
2. Slytherin: Determination to be right will get the best of them.
3. Hufflepuff: Will just agree with whatever you say.
4. Gryffindor: May get a little heated amidst the discussion.

best to go on an adventure with

1. Gryffindor: They are not known as brave for no reason.
2. Hufflepuff: Even if they do not always participate, they are great company.
3. Slytherin: Ambition will take over.
4. Ravenclaw: They may have done a little too much research on the adventure.

best to have on your side in an argument

1. Slytherin: Determination will win this battle, right or wrong.
2. Ravenclaw: Will somehow know every waking detail about the argument topic.
3. Gryffindor: Will never pass up defending a friend.
4. Hufflepuff: Will have a response… in 2-3 business days.

best to have impulsively cut your hair

1. Gryffindor: Will courageously make the first chop, ignoring any and all doubts.
2. Slytherin: Does not care to do it because it is not their hair.
3. Hufflepuff: Has a hard time saying no.
4. Ravenclaw: Will take the impulsivity out of the situation which dissuades the person.

best to attend a concert with

1. Hufflepuff: Will check in and match your energy all night.
2. Gryffindor: Is here for a good time and not a long time.
3. Ravenclaw: Will know every lyric and have the set list memorized.
4. Slytherin: May potentially want to dip halfway through the night.

best to have late night talks with

1. Hufflepuff: It is the late hours that bring out the true feelings of a Hufflepuff.
2. Gryffindor: Can go on and on into the early hours.
3. Ravenclaw: Great listeners, although they may be faking.
4. Slytherin: Will go to bed a few hours in.

Best to go to for advice

1. Ravenclaw: Incredibly knowledgeable and honest.
2. Gryffindor: Has the nerve to tell it how it is.
3. Slytherin: Has no problem hurting your feelings for the greater good.
4. Hufflepuff: Good intentions, but they may poorly lie to your face.

I would like to think I was fair in my rankings, but feel free to strike up an argument. I will warn you though, I will either win or disappear before admitting defeat.
