For me, music is an important part of my life. I wake up with music, I drive to campus and walk to my classes listening to music, and I always take a good dance break when I’m studying to help me relax and stay in the zone. One of my favorite times to listen to music is when I’m on the treadmill or when I’m lifting weights in the gym. Below are my 10 favorite songs from my workout playlist:

Run the World (Girls)- Beyonce

This is a great song to warm up to. I like to listen to this first and set the mood for my workout with this song.

The Man- Taylor Swift

This song empowers me and makes me get my heart rate pumping.

S.L.U.T.- Bea Miller

This song makes me feel confident and it has a good beat to it.

Bad Habits- Ed Sheeran

This song has a good running beat to it, and I love Ed Sheeran, so it had to be in my playlist.

Mother’s Daughter- Miley Cyrus

I like this song for squatting because the beat is not too fast, so I can do my workout along with it.

Fergalicious- Fergie, Will.i.am

This is my ‘go crazy’ song. I often run as fast as I can on the treadmill when listening to this song. It is the peak of my workout.

Man! I Feel Like a Woman- Shania Twain

This is a good song for when I’m doing a slower workout, like lifting weights.

Thank u, next- Ariana Grande

This is a great song for a cooldown.

What the Hell- Avril Lavigne

I often play this song when a workout gets hard, and I need to keep pushing forward.

Good 4 u- Olivia Rodrigo

I like to play this song near the end of my workout. I like the beat and the energy it gives off.

I hope you enjoyed reading my list, and hopefully, you can add a song or two to your playlist.
