Fall is finally here! Hooray! If you’re anything like me, you’ve been waiting eagerly for it to feel like fall for multiple reasons: the weather, hot drinks, apple cider, sweaters, and fall makeup looks! I absolutely love the fall, and one of the things I’m looking forward to is getting to bring out my favorite makeup looks that feel all autumn-like. Check these out and see if you want to try any!

Browns, Browns, Browns!

To me, no makeup look screams ‘fall’ like browns. Brown eyeshadow and brown lipstick are something that I love using throughout the year, but I often feel like I should be using brighter colors when it’s warmer outside. Now that it’s getting cooler, I can pair soft brown eyeshadows with brown lipsticks. I personally really like light brown lipsticks that are just a shade off of nude, so you can tell that you’re wearing lipstick while still being subtle.

Leafy Colors

I know I’ve already mentioned browns, but colors like orange and yellow are warm and they reflect the changing leaves of the season. Whether it’s a bright orange/yellow or a subtle one, the color will make your eyes pop and give you a fall goddess-y glow.

Purples

Purple is another color that really fits in with the fall season. It might be more to do with Halloween than with the weather, but who cares? A dark purple lipstick or eyeshadow can make your look POP, and if paired with gold? I can barely handle the beauty. Sigh.

Gold

Gold is not a color that ever goes out of season (in my opinion). I do think that it has reasons to fit in with each season of the year – it matches the sparkle of snow in winter, the new life of nature in spring, the happiness and freedom in the summer. In the fall, it matches the leaves turning yellow, the sunsets that shine, the pumpkins that grow. It always works, and it’s always gorgeous.
