HC Team Member: Samantha Loy
Meet Samantha Loy! She usually goes by Sammi. She has been a part of Her Campus for a semester and loves every second of it! Sammi is an Early Childhood Education major and hopes to teach at an urban school. She is a Sophomore and will be graduating in Spring of 2020. When Sammi isn’t writing for Her Campus, you can catch her cheering on the sidelines at MU football and basketball games! She has been on the cheerleading team since her Freshman year, and she is planning on returning for another year! Sammi is also involved with Student Alumni Association as Secretary/Social Media chair. This upcoming school year, Sammi will be the Treasurer of Student Alumni Association. Sammi is also a part of Fellowship of Christian Athletes on campus! She stated, “FCA has made such a huge difference in my life. I am forever grateful for all of the friends that I’ve made!” When Sammi is not studying at Millersville, she works as a summer camp counselor at her local YMCA! Her hobbies include hanging out with friends and family, being outside, journaling, traveling, and playing with her dogs. She is so excited to see where life takes her! If you see her around campus, don’t be afraid to say hi!
