Last year was the best halloween of my life. The weekend before Halloween, I went home. When my mom was driving me back, I couldn’t wait for that night. When I got back, I went to my room and made sure it was clean. After I made sure my room was clean, I went to Jack’s family tavern. The staff were dressed in costumes and my favorite was a staff member dressed as an elf. After we ate, I went back to my friend’s room to get ready for the Halloween party. I dressed as a hippie. I had leggings for pants, and a tie dyed shirt. I also wore crazy socks.

After my friend and I got ready, we headed over to the SMC MPR. When we got to the party, all I saw was darkness and disco lights in the room. I walked around and saw everybody’s costumes. I saw some people dressed as a nurse, Sleeping Beauty, and a black cat, which was my favorite. After I walked around and saw everybody’s costumes, I got some food. At the party, I ate pizza, lots of candy, sweets, and many more. After I ate, there was a dance party. I danced with my friends and then we played some games. After a while, we started getting tired so we decided to go back to one of my friends’ dorms.

I usually don’t decorate for Halloween, but after going to this Halloween party, I changed my mind. If I were to decorate for Halloween, I would make sure that there were disco lights involved and a lot of candy. I also would hang up orange and black streamers around my room. I would also put up pumpkin, witches, bats, and ghost stickers. Then, I would be ready to throw my own Halloween party just like the party I went to. Going to this Halloween party last year made me realize that Halloween is fun and fun to decorate for. I’m so excited to see what this Halloween brings.
