So it’s finally starting to get warm outside and I’m sure many of you want to get outside and get some fresh air…. I know I do!! If you are like me, you are really busy with juggling work, school, and some form of social life. I get it, we are ALL busy college girlies, but we can make some small adjustments to our schedule to get that time outside that our bodies truly need and deserve. Below are just a few of my favorite ways to spend some time outside in the spring.

1. Do your homework outside

If you are already busy doing your homework, then why not sit outside and do it!! I love just sitting outside my apartment on a beach towel and doing my homework. It helps to change the scenery that you typically do homework in, and allows you to get some nice sun time in.

2. Walk to class

This is such a super easy thing to do, but so many of us normally drive to class. I’m guilty of it too! If you have a busy day and are not sure when you will get some nice time outside, then try walking to class and anywhere else that you have to go during your day.

3. Have a picnic

This is another favorite thing of mine to do! Likely you are eating lunch and dinner at some point, so try grabbing your lunch on campus and taking it outside to eat! Try a nice bench, or even bring a towel and sit on the grass! I love doing this alone, but I also love asking friends to meet me for a nice picnic lunch!

4. Go for a run/hike

If you are someone who loves to workout, chances are you are at the gym pretty often. If you want to get some time outside, try going for a run or a hike instead of heading to the gym. I personally am a huge fan of hiking because I love immersing myself into nature. Whatever you prefer, try getting some fresh air during your next workout!

5. Suntan

Lastly, if you want to get outside more and are someone who naps often, try going outside to suntan and rest your eyes! If you already take daily naps, you should try taking them outside! Just remember to put on sunscreen to protect your precious skin!

I hope this inspires you to get outside and spend some time in this nice spring weather!
