5 Tips For Clearer Skin

I’ve struggled with acne for years!  I just recently have found some ways to get clear skin that actually work.  If you currently struggle with acne, this article is for you.

1. Use an acne cream that has a moisturizer in it

I have used so many products that dry out my skin, so any product that moisturizes and gets rid of acne is such a great thing to use.  I personally use Neutrogena Rapid Clear Acne Defense Face Lotion.  I LOVE this product, because not only does it get rid of my acne, but it makes my skin soft and not oily like some products do.  You can purchase this item at most Walmarts, Targets, or from Amazon.com.

2. Use a toner

I just recently started using a toner, and it is a game changer!  Using a toner will help clean your face, tighten your pores, hydrates the skin, helps with oily skin, and helps get rid of acne. I personally use THAYERS Witch Hazel Aloe Vera Formula Rose Petal.  Not only does it do wonders to your skin, but it smells so good!  You can purchase this item from Amazon.com.

3. Use a mask once a week

You deserve to pamper yourself. A mask is a great easy way to do this, and your skin will thank you for it. You don’t need to buy super expensive masks to get great results. I actually like to mix it up and try different masks each week, but if you find a mask you love, you can use that as your weekly go to product. 

4. Get a good nights sleep

I know you’ve probably heard this one before, but it really does make a difference.  Making sure that you are getting at least 8 hours of sleep a night will really help clear your skin up. 

5. Drink lots of water

Drinking water instead of sugary drinks like soda or tea can really make a huge difference in your skin. Try to drink more water than any other beverage if possible. Not only will your skin clear up, but you may even loose a little weight as well by substituting your normal drinks with water.
