It is the absolute best time of the year. The leaves are turning, the air is chilling, and sweaters are making their debut appearances. Autumn has always been my favorite season for many reasons. Here are 5 reasons that prove Autumn is the best season ever.

1.    The Changing Leaves

There is nothing like the feeling you get when driving down the winding roads after a long day. You look up at the changing leaves at just the right time, sun shining through, and you get this warm feeling inside. Sometimes you forget how beautiful the word can naturally be.

2.    The Sweaters, scarves, and boots

Autumn is when my unhealthy collection of sweaters make their reappearance. It’s finally socially acceptable for us girls to wear our Ugg’s and knee-high socks, and oh boy how we take advantage of that. Autumn is a great season for the fashion industry, I cannot wait to see what they have in store for us this year.

3.    Spooky Time is Back!

Halloween is not just for small children and anyone who tells you that, is just a spooky time Scrooge. There is nothing better than getting to October and looking at what movies will be playing on ABC’s “31 Nights of Halloween”. (They’re playing Hocus Pocus all day on Halloween).

4.    Fall Break is Near

From the first Friday of class, I think we all start a countdown to fall break. We tell ourselves if we make it to fall break, then we can make it to the end of the semester. We long for those well needed two days of sleep, Netflix and YouTube. When we feel the crisp-air we know that well needed mental break is coming and we are thanking the being we pray to.

5.    Black Friday

Come on in the wise words of James Charles, “Who does not love a sister sale?” Autumn means black Friday is right around the corner and you do not want to miss out on those deals. Of course, not everyone loves the crowds of black Friday and for you we present cyber Mondays.
