10 Songs That Should Definitely Be on Your Christmas Playlist

With December just a few days away, it is totally acceptable to start getting into the Christmas spirit, and what better way to do that than with some songs? Here are 10 classic Christmas songs that you literally need in your playlist:

1. Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas, by Michael Bublé

You just can’t have a Christmas playlist without something by Michael Bublé!

2. White Christmas, by Bing Crosby

This song is from 1942 but is still one of the best Christmas songs to this day.

3. All I Want For Christmas Is You, by Mariah Carey

Does this one even need an explanation?

4. Feliz Navidad, by José Feliciano

A perfect mix of Spanish, English, and Christmas spirit!

5. Rockin’ Around The Christmas Tree, by Brenda Lee

This upbeat tune is sure to make you want to get up and dance!

6. Sleigh Ride, by The Carpenters

You may not be able to actually take a sleigh ride, but you can pretend to while you listen to this in your warm car!

7. Do They Know It’s Christmas, by Band-Aid

This 80’s song references the famine in Ethiopia and how many people overlook how fortunate they are compared to others, especially at Christmastime. The dark lyrics are a call to action to help the less fortunate, or “feed the world”, as they say.

8. I’ll Be Home For Christmas, by Lady Antebellum

This country-take on a Christmas classic is sweet and simple, and perfect for those who enjoy country music!

9. Last Christmas, by Wham!

This song about heartbreak has some sad lyrics but it so fun and upbeat that you just want to sing along!

10. All I Want For Christmas Is You, by Vince Vance & the Valiants

All around this is a great Christmas song! Don’t confuse it with Mariah Carey’s “All I Want For Christmas Is You”, though, because they are two different songs!
