When it comes to our outfit color palettes, black and navy seem to be taking over. I cannot even count the number of different LBDs and various black heels I have sitting in my tiny dorm room closet.

Black is just the perfect start or finisher to an outfit – I almost always start with a black tank top for daytime or quickly zip up my black wedges before heading out the door for a Friday night uptown. One color that I almost never even consider is white. While it may not be the most flattering color for me, as I have blonde hair and fair Irish skin, it can be perfect when worn away from the face, more specifically worn as a killer pair of pumps.

White heels have recently become very popular, and they work well with a variety of different outfits. My advice for how to rock wearing a pair of white heels: wear them with confidence. While they may not seem like the easiest thing to pull off, they can actually work well with a wide array of outfits.

Stars like Rosie Huntington-Whiteley have been seen wearing them with a white dress. Her look is bold and I highly encourage it for anyone looking to pull off an all-white outfit. However, they can easily dress up a simple jeans-and-t-shirt outfit just as easily, like Vanessa Hudgens did. Her cuffed jeans and elegant top capture the crispness and pose as a great opposite for her bold, pointy white pumps. White heels are the perfect outfit-polisher and with summer coming up, you can feel better knowing these bright shoes will do nothing but draw more attention to your hard-earned tanned legs.
