How you represent yourself physically and emotionally says a lot about you, but what you surround yourself with says a lot more. It tells a story. It speaks volumes of who you are. It reveals a place where you feel most yourself. With your living space, you want it to feel as comfy as possible while having the theme speak to your vibe. Here are some ways to vamp up your area while staying true to your aesthetic:
String Lights
These are particularly my favorite lighting decor out there because it makes your room glow and it goes well with everything. Whether you are trying to soften the mood or wanting to tie together your room, this is one of my all-time recommendations to have or to purchase ASAP. I always look at urban outfitters or pottery barn.
Fun mirror
With any size living space you’re at, a window opens up the room making it look bigger as an optical illusion. I have one in particular that fits in my room perfectly on top of my organizer while blending in with my overall aesthetic which is accents of pink, light purple, white, and touches of gold/silver in the mix.
Jewelry Holder
I recommend this item to anyone that loves to accessorize, but doesn’t know where to put everything. I have a couple different jewelry holders on top of my organizer stand along with the mirror I mentioned earlier, but it helps me keep everything in place while looking super cute.
Phone holder
This really saves me especially when I want to keep track of my phone while cleaning my room/apartment. It’s a great way to stay organized especially if you live in a smaller space while keeping track of your stuff.
Candle and/or oil diffuser
These items are such a good way to rewind after an exhausting or stressful day. I always like to have these two items around in my apartment because it’s calming and keeps me centered while smelling absolutely amazing. I recommend looking at TJ Maxx for diffusers and oil. My favorite candle brand is Nestle since the candles smell really good and last a long time.
Have something that inspires you
For me, this is such a big thing because I am a firm believer of manifestation. It’s about putting out what you want in the world and making it happen. It’s with hard work and having a positive attitude that gives you the results you want. I have created a vision board for my goals as well as having a positive affirmation stand.
