Last month, I had the opportunity to go to the Women’s March in New York City. I have been wanting to go to one of the marches since they started three years ago, but never got the chance. I wasn’t quite sure what to expect, but as soon as I got there I could feel the passion and strength that exuded from each and every woman there. It didn’t matter where you came from; everyone was there to support one another and lift each other up. From the chanting to warm interactions between strangers, this was definitely one of the most powerful experiences I have ever been a part of. Then, of course, there were the incredible signs. Here are just a few of some of the most inspiring signs I snapped a picture of:
1. Equality is the tits.
2. The only wall we need is between church and state.
3. Vote Like a Girl.
4. I need a dozen signs.
5. If a man talks sh*t then I owe him nothing.
6. Cancel this TV show.
7. The future is intersectional.
8. History has its eyes on you.
9. Thou shall not f*ck with Women’s Rights. (my personal fav)
10. Anything you can do we can do bleeding.
