As much as I love a good date night or romantic Valentine’s Day or season as much as the next girl, I also love a good Valentine’s Day spent with my girls. Whoever your girls are, whether that be your roommates, sisters, longest friends, or the girl you met last week, planning a Galentines is a super fun way to celebrate one of my favorite holidays ever, Valentine’s Day!

Today I’m going to show you how you can plan the best Galentine’s Day ever for you and your besties!

Pick an activity to do that everyone will love:

Baking

Everyone can make something different or help decorate something together like heart shaped cookies or a cake with cute pink and red icing & sprinkles!

Charcuterie Night

Either everyone can bring their own or you can all contribute to one big board that has all the fixings needed for Galentines! Cheese (obviously & even be cut in the shapes of hearts) My personal choice is sharp white cheddar & a requirement for any charcuterie board, meats (you can even make them in the shapes of roses if you’re feeling fancy), & every pink sweet treat imaginable.

Secret Cupid (a play on Secret Santa of course)

Organize a gift swap with friends! You could make a set budget for everyone or not. Basically, all of the same rules apply as Secret Santa, here are some cutie gift ideas to get for your girlies! Makeup, stuffies (Squish Mallows & Jellycats are some of the best), any of their favorite treats or snacks, hair bows, or accessories.

Lastly a Valentine’s movie marathon

Get all the best movie theater snacks & candy or do one of my personal favorites, make a popcorn mix by adding sweets into a bowl of your basic popcorn like M&MS and mini Reese’s cups.

The best Valentines movies to watch (in my opinion) are: The Notebook, The Fault in Our Stars, Winnie the Pooh A Valentine for You, Dirty Dancing, Be My Valentine Charlie Brown, My Big Fat Greek Wedding, To All the Boys series, A Walk to Remember.

Then set the dress code depending on the activity: cute matching pjs, fancy dresses, or fun cozy sweaters! Add all of the best tunes for the night & have so much fun!
