Raquel: “I was originally born in California, but I’ve lived in Georgia for the past 11 years.”
HC: What made you choose Mercer?
Raquel: “Because they didn’t have a football team. I wanted a school that focused on academics.”
HC: What do you want to do with your degree?
“Raquel: I want to be a film editor.”
HC: What goy you interested in editing?
Raquel: “I bought a camera, took it to school, and started taking pictures and videos. I thought why not put them together.”
HC: What clubs and/or honor societies are you involved with? Do you hold any officer positions?
Raquel: “I am a member of Phi Eta Sigma National Honor Society, and I am a member of Mercer 99.”
HC: What is a word that you would use to describe yourself?
Raquel: “I have no words to describe myself. I’m just me!”
HC: What inspires you?
Raquel: “Whatever happens at the moment. I just do it!

Raquel: “The Lazy Song by Bruno Mars.”

Raquel: “Steak. Medium rare. I don’t like it to be mooing and moving, but I like a little bit of blood.”

Raquel: “Facebook. Stumble Upon. Artwork. Spray painting. Editing. Painting.”

Raquel: “ I’m not really sure, but I may move to California and live with my Aunt until I can find work in my field.”
