The New Girl: Ngozi ‘Nacho’ Ihenacho

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Mercer chapter.

Name: Ngozi Ihenacho (aka Nachoz)

Major: Undecided on Pre-PT track

Organizations Involved: Student Government, National Society of Leadership and Success, MacTown Breakers, and Debate Club

Three words that describe you: Enthusiastic, Energetic, and Inspirational

Why did you choose to come to MU? Since I have two other siblings in college at the same time, Mercer University really helped with making my college dream successful. Plus, it has an awesome prehealth reputation, and I knew I wanted to be in a smaller classroom too.

Who is your biggest inspiration? My current female inspiration is Beyonce, especially because her work ethic, ambition, and passion to her cause is something that I aspire to achieve one day. My male inspiration is Adande, a guy on Youtube, whose username is sWooZie because he’s unpredictable , but is consistent in his beliefs despite the popularity.

What is a motto you live by? I found this motto from the Harry Potter books in fourth grade, and it has stayed with me since: “Courage is doing what is right, not what is easy.”

What’s something you want to accomplish before leaving Mercer? With the skills that I acquire over time, I want to be able to effectively lead many successful events, and maybe even maintain awesome relationships with surrounding universities in the Macon area.

Future Plans: For now, I hope that I can be a physical therapist, in order to, give others a second chance at life to truly live through rehabilitation and encouragement. But, you never know…

Woot! I'm an indian chick who is kind of different. I am friendly and social
