Believe it or not, Montreal is absolutely gorgeous in the summer! For all of you who are staying in the city, for whatever reason, make sure you check these patios out — after work, after class, or just for fun. Now that summer’s here, you don’t have to be stuck in a stuffy resturant. Whether it be for a quick mid-day coffee break or for dinner out with friends, enjoying time outside is what summer is all about. The beautiful weather should be enjoyed to the fullest extent, as we all know that it is truly short in Montreal!

In the morning, be sure to check out this cute breakfast spot located in the Outremont neighborhood. It is the perfect place to enjoy your a French breakfast outdoors in a very French-styled café and patio, which might I add, is nice, quiet and intimate. They serve croissant, café au lait, and all things French!

Patios are also the perfect place to… you guessed it, people watch! Les Folies is the best place to do so in Montreal, so make sure you check it out for an eventful lunch outdoors. They have mouth-watering hamburgers and all sorts of fancy drinks. It is located in the beautiful Plateau Mont-Royal neighborhood, so definitely check it out while you are in the neighborhood.

And of course for dinner, head to this gorgeous terraced garden restaraurant. This place is a very popular student destination and truly mirrors the beauty of nature within Montreal. It is located very close to Mount Royal, and the pond and trees surrounding you really do provide a sense of tranquility.

So lather on that sunscreen and prepare to head out and truly enjoy yourself.  School is finally done and you can finally crawl from under that rock you have been hiding under for the past few weeks!
