One of the projects that Marywood holds each year is International Week. Because of the recent terroristic events taking place these past few months around the world, it was an especially humbling experience to see the Rotunda decorated with the flags of countries around the world, and the labyrinth laid on the floor. One of my professors had us leave class 10 minutes early for an activity, which turned out was having us walk the labyrinth and have a few minutes of self-reflection as we journeyed through one of the most stressful weeks of the semester. I cherished this time, and really felt like I gained some self-awareness and humility about what a great educational opportunity we are all presented with here at Marywood. My professor snapped this candid pic of us all walking in silent reflection.
