What activities are you involved in on campus?
I am involved with Campus Ministry and the Athletic Department

What are some of your hobbies?
I like to do a few things. I love to sing, it’s so much fun! I’m also a huge football guy, and a bigger Redskins fan. I love to attend as many of their games as possible, win or lose. I’m always down to play sports on the backfield!

What’s your favorite part about being a leader on campus?
The opportunity to make a difference. I’m very passionate about connecting with other students and helping them in way that I can. Being in a leadership position, I’m just very grateful for chances to impact lives for the best.

Why did you choose to attend Marymount University?
I chose to attend Marymount for a few reasons. It is close to home, it is Catholic and they have what I desired to study. My sister used to go here; after visiting her in the past, I felt like I already had my foot in the door.

What is your favorite thing about Marymount?
…That’s hard. If I have to go with one thing, it is the reassurance of having a home away from home. It truly is a family here; when I showed up as a freshmen I was blown away by how everyone treats one another. It is a beautiful community of people here. I don’t want to leave.

What is a typical day in your life like?
A typical day in my life is very busy. Too busy, to be honest. I try not to get too stressed, but I certainly am doing something every minute of every day whether it be class, homework, meals or work. I would collapse without time management and guidance from others.

What do you see yourself doing in five years?
Right now I’m just focusing on getting good grades, and trusting in God’s plan for me. He has a plan, He just hasn’t shown me yet.

What is your dream job and how do you think you’ll get there?
My dream job would have to be the radio broadcaster for the Washington Redskins, or a singer. I think I can become the broadcaster by hard work in the classroom and jobs, as well as taking any opportunity I get. For singing, I will have to keep practicing my vocals and instruments, and grab at any opportunity I can to sing.

What is your most memorable moment at Marymount?
My most memorable moment at Marymount would have to be (in no order) singing at school events with Alyssa Gurley, going on Campus Ministry retreats/events and honestly, just trying to show others on a day to day basis the love and dignity they deserve. God has been good to me!

What have you been able to take away from your years so far at Marymount?
What I have been able to take away from my years at Marymount so far is, of all things, that there are people here who truly believe in me and my future success. It makes me want to work so much harder for them; they convince me that I can do it. It’s amazing and so encouraging when someone else believes in their heart I can in fact do it. However, I can’t do anything without prayers, so please pray for me.

What is your favorite quote/motto?
My favorite quote is a Bible verse from John 13:34-35: “A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this everyone wil know that you are my disciples, if you love one another”.
