Coffee Date Outfit Ideas Inspired By The Starbucks Holiday Menu

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Maryland chapter.

As the winter season creeps in and the air grows chilly, there’s nothing more cozy than enjoying the holiday season with company at Starbucks. Whether you’re grabbing lattes with friends, in a hurry to host a holiday gathering and rewatch Gilmore Girls or meeting your Hinge match for a fun date night, the warmth and aesthetic perfection of the new Starbucks holiday menu can inspire the cutest coffee date outfits.

1. New Starbucks® Iced Gingerbread Oatmilk Chai

My favorite part of the holiday season is definitely the lingering smell of toasted gingerbread cookies, which is exactly what this drink tastes like. To create a look inspired by this beverage, start with a casual khaki colored long sleeve crewneck shirt, paired with a beige cargo skirt to captivate the perfect light espresso and foam colors fused together. It can be challenging to wear skirts when the weather is chilly, but this problem is easily solved by incorporating some sheer tights, knee socks and chunky Mary Jane shoes to match.

2. Starbucks® Peppermint Mocha

If you love chocolate and the flavor of fresh mint, you will absolutely love the Starbucks Peppermint Mocha. I am personally starting to love the business casual look, so I found this black and white vintage patchwork pencil office dress that can easily be dressed up or dressed down to represent the rich peppermint-chocolate combo. A light mocha colored cardigan is the best pairing for this dress with an optional black belt or other waist accessory. This look is best worn with knee high length black boots or your choice of black dress shoes.

3. Starbucks® Caramel Brulée Latte
My personal  order has always been the caramel frappuccino, so this hot caramel latte  version is quite the delight. Caramel colored bodycon pencil skirts look graceful when worn with tucked in white ruffle bow tie blouses. Some affordable accessories like white headbands and golden earrings can turn something casual into something chic. I would also recommend Mary Jane shoes with this outfit since the skirt is a bit long, but simple black heels work as well.

4. Starbucks® Chestnut Praline Latte
You may be familiar with the line, “chestnuts roasting on an open fire.” To elevate the chestnut flavor into style, a cream colored turtleneck bodysuit paired together with a high waisted corduroy skirt is a must. Any type of low chunky heels would match this outfit so well, and if you’d like to better accessorize, consider a cabbie cap to finish off this look.

5. Starbucks® Iced Sugar Cookie Almondmilk Latte
Need to satisfy your sweet tooth? Not a problem with this drink. Let some

corduroy trousers and a brown crop top embrace the flavors of almond milk and espresso. A plaid cream colored scarf or optional colored earrings to match the sprinkles is also a unique way of styling and further signifies the sugar cookie concept. Any kind of ankle boot would be the best footwear selection for this outfit.

6. New Oleato™ Gingerbread Oat Milk Latte
Finally, you can’t go wrong with sweet and oaky. To symbolize the warmth from the blonde espresso and steamed oat milk, a soft light sweater dress and suede thigh high boots is the most basic yet bold fashion statement you can make. Feel free to customize this look by incorporating any other kind of tights or golden jewelry to match. The key is to mix and match as many neutral beige and tan clothing items as possible.

Cheers to yet another successful Holiday season at Starbucks filled with layers, flavor, and delight!
