Guys Just Do Not Understand…

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Marshall chapter.

Let’s be real girls, there are a few things that guys just do not understand. No matter how hard we try to explain, they will never get it. Here are a few things that guys just do not understand:

Periods. As obvious as I think this is, boys still DO NOT get it. The constant cravings, the mood swings, the sharp shooting pains that take over your stomach and lower back at the worst possible time. Lay off of us!

When she says, “I’m so fat.” Yes, almost every girl feels this way every single day, whether they are a size 2 or 24. You can roll your eyes all you want when you hear a female say those exact words, but we say it because we mean it or we just want someone to tell us we’re really not.

Our Attitude. Yes, we have attitudes! That’s part of the package. Embrace our sassiness.

When she says, “I don’t care if she’s your friend, I don’t like her.” I’d like to state a proven fact that girls are psychic. We know when your so called best girl “friend” is into you. She may have been your friend in the sand box back in the day, but she has by passed that friend zone status… in her eyes at least. Trust us! RED FLAG

“Why are you putting so much makeup on? We are going to the gym.” Sorry we want to look presentable. Honestly, you never know how many mega cuties are going to be working out that day ;)

Bathroom Huddles. I would think that guys would have caught on by now. There are only three reasons why girls go to the bathroom together. We’re determining whether that hot guy checking us out across the room is actually hot or if we’ve had a little too much to drink, we’re fixing our lip gloss or we just all have to use the bathroom at once.

Why girls stalk social media. Simple! We are really bored or we’re curious if you’ve updated your WCW (Woman Crush Wednesday), yet. No, really, have you???
