First things first, I am super into zodiacs and astrology. I just think it is so interesting, and honestly can be so telling and accurate. Now of course, some people don’t understand or agree with the zodiac; and to each, their own. But I do believe if you really look into your personal astrology, it definitely can reveal some accurate truths. Astrology begins with your sun sign, which is when your birthday falls in the astrological year. Typically, the traits associated with your sun sign are the most dominant and can be accurate to you. But, you also may find yourself not connecting to all of your sun sign traits. One reason your sun sign could have some inaccuracies is that you fall on the cusp. If your birthday falls around four or less days out from another sign’s dates, then you fall on the cusp. For example, if you were born on November 20th, you are technically a Libra. But because you are on the cusp, you may carry some Scorpio traits (which is the next chronological sun sign and starts November 23rd). Another major reason that you may not find your sun sign to be 100% accurate is because your astrological chart consists of much more than just your sun sign. There are so many other signs that you fall into based on the date, place, and time of your birth. Some of these signs include your moon sign and rising sign. It is honestly super crazy to read about and look into. Mine, personally, had a lot of accurate information about me! I highly recommend you fill out your natal chart. But, before you do that, let’s backtrack a little bit to the beginning of the zodiac and take a deeper look into the 12 sun signs!
- Aries (March 21-April 19)
- Symbol: The Ram
- Element: Fire Sign
- Planet: Mars
- Strengths: Aries are typically very energetic people. They want to do everything and see everything, and just go, go, go! Aries are generally pretty optimistic people. They also seek being the leader and center of attention.
- Weaknesses: On the other hand, Aries can be short tempered, easily frustrated, and moody. They can also be pretty nasty if you get on their bad side. Aries tend to be pretty impulsive and can come off as aggressive. They also can be very insecure. Fun fact: Aries is the sign most likely to be a narcissist; and trust me, there are a lot of them.
- Taurus (April 20- May 20)
- Symbol: The Bull
- Element: Earth Sign
- Planet: Venus
- Strengths: Tauruses are really great people generally. They are reliable, patient, and loyal. They are also very responsible. Tauruses make such good friends!
- Weaknesses: Tauruses can be possessive and very stubborn. They also tend to be pretty opinionated and deep set in their beliefs/ways. Tauruses also don’t tend to like change and can get mad when things don’t go their way.
- Gemini (May 21-June 20)
- Symbol: The Twins
- Element: Air Sign
- Planet: Mercury
- Strengths: Geminis truly are something else. They tend to be pretty wacky, but this can be in a good way! Geminis are typically outgoing and fun. They are very adaptable and tend to be super energetic.
- Weaknesses: Geminis can be sneaky and deceitful sometimes. Their symbol is “The Twins” because their personalities tend to flip-flop often. It’s like being hot and cold. Geminis can also be inconsistent and indecisive. They tend to gossip and say inconsiderate/abnormal things.
- Cancer (June 21- July 22)

- Element: Water Sign
- Planet: The Moon
- Strengths: Cancers tend to be very kind, gentle people. They are loyal, sympathetic, and tenacious.They make great friends and listeners. Cancers tend to be homebodies, but like to have fun every once in a while. Cancers are also highly emotional/in touch with their emotions. A lot of Cancers are intuitive as well.
- Weaknesses: Cancers tend to be moody and can easily get caught up in their emotions. They can also be manipulative to get what they want. Cancers are known to harbor inner insecurity.

- Element: Fire Sign
- Planet: The Sun
- Strengths: I am proud to represent my fellow Leos everywhere! We are the best sign, and I am not afraid to say it. If you’re a Leo, I’m sure you feel the same way! Leos are creative, passionate, and cheerful people. They tend to be very generous and warm hearted. Leos are also very fun to be around, energetic, and funny. Leos make their presence known and tend to get along with everyone. Leos typically don’t like drama and are charismatic.
- Weaknesses: Leos can be pretty stubborn. They can sometimes come across as arrogant, whether it is intentional, or not. Leos tend to compare themselves and can get jealous easier than some of the other signs. Leos can be very self critical, but tend to keep their feelings inside and only showcase the good side of themselves.
- Virgo (August 23- September 22)
- Symbol: The Maiden
- Element: Earth Sign
- Planet: Mercury
- Strengths: Virgos are loyal and hard working people! They are typically very practical and meticulous. They are headstrong, and when they set their mind to anything, they will find a way to succeed.
- Weaknesses: Virgos can be very critical of themselves and others. Some Virgos get too caught up in their work and allow themselves no downtime or fun. Virgos also tend to be worriers and can be shy.
- Libra (September 23- October 22)
- Symbol: The Scales
- Element: Air Sign
- Planet: Venus
- Strengths: Libras are very balanced and fair individuals. They tend to be very anti-conflict and are natural mediators. Libras are also pretty social and well liked.
- Weaknesses: Libras are very indecisive. They tend to avoid confrontation and can get quick tempered when frustrated or scared. Libras will sometimes hold grudges and tend to self pity.
- Scorpio (October 23-November 21)

- Strengths: Scorpios are very passionate and driven people. They are headstrong and fight to get what they want, when they want it. Scorpios are also generally resourceful and brave. They are true friends. Some Scorpios are more likely to be in touch with the paranormal.
- Weaknesses: Scorpios tend to be secretive and can be moody. They can come off as intense and aggressive. They are also pretty stubborn and can get upset when they don’t get their way.
- Sagittarius (November 22- December 21)

- Weaknesses: Capricorns are sometimes hard to break down- they have a tough exterior. They can sometimes be perceived as condescending or a know-it-all. They also tend to hold grudges and expect the worst. Capricorns generally struggle internally more than the majority of other signs.

- Strengths: Aquarians are typically pretty independent people that can get the job done all on their own. They are very hard working and are the humanitarians of the zodiac. Aquarians tend to have strong opinions about things, but are not typically judgemental.
