6 Thoughts You Had as Spring Break Came to a Close

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Marist chapter.

Spring break is a time to be alive. Spending time with friends in the beautiful weather and traveling the world (or staying in bed) is a nice break from the stress that comes from college. When the time comes to pack and start heading back to school for the second half of the semester, it can be a little tough. Don’t worry, you’re strong. You’ll get through this.

1. The initial realization that break is, in fact, over.

Like they say, all good things must come to an end.

2. Trying to figure out where the time went.

Time flies when you’re spending all your time watching Netflix.

3. Realizing there’s no way you’ll be able to pay attention in class for at least two weeks.

Especially with the upcoming beautiful weather, we have to remember to stay strong and study hard.

4. Saying goodbye to your hometown friends after spending much needed quality time together.

Spring break was just a preview of how much fun we’ll have during the summer.

5. Saying goodbye to friends was hard, but it is even harder to say goodbye to homemade meals and favorite local restaurants.

I’ll be back for you, Mom’s lasagna.

6. Already checking to see when summer break starts.

It’s like we’re so close…yet so far.

Only a few more weeks to go!
