HC: Why did you choose MC?
Andrew: I chose MC because I wanted to go to a school in the city, and the size of the school was perfect. It really allows you to know your professors in small class sizes and I really like that.
HC: Favorite moment at MC?
Andrew: I don’t really have one favorite moment at MC. College has been a blast so far and I can’t wait to see what the next two years have in store for me.
HC: Favorite class taken at MC?
Andrew: My favorite class was my first year seminar philosophy class with Dr. Bollert. First semester of freshman year, I took this class and just immediately took a liking to it. It made me think in ways I never had before, and I think it was a perfect class to start off my college career. (I’m actually thinking of picking up a philosophy major or minor!)
HC: Favorite professor?
Andrew: My favorite professor might be a tie between Dr. David Bollert and Dr. Martha Mendez-Baldwin. Dr. Bollert taught philosophy and really challenged me to think about things differently and really made philosophy one of my favorite subjects, something I never thought I’d say. Dr. Mendez-Baldwin has really taken me under her wing in the Psychology department and she has helped guide me as my major advisor.
HC: If you could change anything about MC, what would it be?
Andrew: If I could change anything about MC, it would probably be the location. I’d honestly like to see it closer to the city, though living in Riverdale has its benefits too.

HC: Let’s talk music!
Andrew: My favorite genre of music is definitely hip-hop, but I also love alternative. I love everything from Mac Miller, Joey Bada$$ and Capital STEEZ, to Arctic Monkeys, Portugal. The Man, and Sam Smith. If I had to choose a favorite song at the moment, it would probably be Christ Conscious by Joey Bada$$. I could talk about music forever.
HC: If you could have only one person at your graduation, who would it be and why?
Andrew: Honestly, really simply, id just want my parents there. They’ve supported me and done so much for me I can’t thank them enough.
HC: Favorite movie?
Andrew: I watch too many movies to have a favorite but any Quentin Tarantino film is always good in my opinion. Also, I just recently say Grand Budapest Hotel and I though that was hilarious.
HC: Favorite clothing brand/store and why?
Andrew: I don’t really have a favorite clothing brand but I do really like Polo/ Ralph Lauren.
HC: Biggest pet peeve?
Andrew: My biggest pet peeve is when people say “like” in between words too much. A little bit is okay but some people overdo it and it’s hard to pay attention to them.
HC: Dream job?
Andrew: My dream job would either be a photographer who travels the world, or an artist who draws either cartoons or for graphic novels. I’ve always loved art and photography so anything in that field would make me happy.
HC: So, Valentine’s Day is coming up! What’s your ideal V-day date?
Andrew: My ideal v-day date would probably be a surprise dinner and a movie, whatever her favorite movie is. Just go all out and make her feel really special.
HC: What do you look for in a girl?
Andrew: She has to be pretty smart or down to earth, pretty, good sense of humor, gets along with my friends, fun to be with but romantic as well. I love animals too so if she does, that’s a bonus.
