It’s been just a few weeks since Adele dropped her brand new album 25 and it’s already broken numerous records and become one of the most talked-about albums of the year. Her fans are praising her on yet another incredible album and people who weren’t previously fans are now hopping onto the bandwagon. Although the first track, “Hello,” is probably all you’ve heard on the radio or joked about, Adele hasn’t actually released a single from the album whatsoever. We don’t blame her either – every track on this album is perfect in their own way. So without further ado, here is 25 track-by-track (Unfortunately, the tracks can’t be posted here because they aren’t available on Spotify).

1. “Hello”

Unless you’ve been living under a rock recently, you’ve probably heard this song maybe too many times. The music video has over 550 million views and the song itself has been the butt of many jokes, especially the hilarious digital short from SNL for Thanksgiving.

Best lyrics: “Hello, can you hear me? I’m in California dreaming about who we used to be, when we were younger and free. I’ve forgotten how it felt before the world fell at our feet”

2. “Send My Love (To Your New Lover)”

Just one listen of this song and you’ll be hooked. It’s catchy and upbeat, all while making you wish you could get your guitar and jam out. But even though it’s a fun-sounding song, the lyrics are still those heartbreaking Adele lyrics. She’s a mastermind, really.

Best lyrics: “Send my love to your new lover, treat her better. We gotta let go of all of our ghosts, we both know we ain’t kids no more.”

3. “I Miss You”

Even if you don’t have someone you miss, this will still make you feel like you’re missing someone. Her voice has so much longing in it and the drums in the background make it powerful. This song is something you would definitely see in some kind of indie-romance movie.

Best lyrics: “Bring your heart I’ll bring my soul, but be delicate with my ego. I want to step into your great unknown with you and me setting the tone. Baby don’t let the lights go down.”

4. “When We Were Young”

You know that joke on Twitter that says “Adele makes me miss that person I made eye contact with on public transportation while staring out the window on a rainy autumn afternoon?” This song feels just like that. It might be the most tear-jerking song on the entire album, talking about a lover from back when Adele was young. Again, her emotions come through so strongly as she sings which makes the song hurt even more. See her live performance here.

Best lyrics: “You look like a movie; you sound like a song. My God, this reminds me of when we were young. Let me photograph you in this light in case it is the last time that we might be exactly like we were before we realized we were sad of getting old.”

5. “Remedy”

This song was one of the first songs Adele wrote for this album. It’s absolutely gorgeous and really showcases her vocals. The song is like a hug from Adele herself, telling you it’s going to be okay.

Best lyrics: “When the world seems so cruel and your heart makes you feel like a fool, I promise you will see, that I will be, I will be your remedy.”

6. “Water Under the Bridge”

The tempo in the song makes you feel unstoppable as Adele calls out a past lover. She performed this on The Tonight Show recently and it was just as good live as it is in the recording.

Best lyrics: “If you’re gonna let me down, let me down gently. Don’t pretend that you don’t want me.”

7. “River Lea”

The beginning of the start gives off a Lana Del Rey vibe. Then as the song starts to pick up, it makes you want to bob your head along and scream out “River Lea!”

Best lyrics: “Sometimes I feel lonely in the arms of your touch. But I know that’s just me cause nothing ever is enough. When I was a child, I grew up by the River Lea; there was something in the water, now that something’s in me.”

8. “Love In The Dark”

Yet another gorgeous song. Adele has the perfect song equation down: heart aching lyrics accompanied by the piano and the hint of strings and of course her sultry voice! Another song that will have you crying into a carton of ice cream probably.

Best lyrics: “Please don’t fall apart, I can’t face your breaking heart. I’m trying to be brave, stop asking me to stay.”

9. “Million Years Ago”

Adele’s voice! It’s absolutely incredible. In this magical song that almost sounds like you can dance the tango to it, she starts out deep and slow, backed up by a quiet guitar. Again, a genius combination that gives you goosebumps.

Best lyrics: “I wish I could live a little more, look up to the sky not just the floor. I feel like my life is flashing by and all I can do is watch and cry. I miss the air, I miss my friends, I miss my mother, I miss it when life was a party to be thrown.”

10. “All I Ask”

Every song seems to get better than the last, which is probably why the album is doing so well. This song would be perfect for some kind of Dancing with the Stars routine, like a ballroom dance.

Best lyrics: “If this is my last night with you, hold me like I’m more than just a friend.”

11. “Sweetest Devotion”

Yes, at the beginning you can hear a child. It’s actually Adele’s son, Angelo. The song was written with him in mind. Knowing that information when you listen to the song, it makes it so much more sweeter.

Best lyrics: “The sweetest devotion hit me like an explosion. All of my life I’ve been frozen, the sweetest devotion I know.”
