Nothing is better than laughing so hard that you are on the floor rolling! I love listening to stand-up comedy, especially listening to some of my favorite comedians. Pete Davidson is my all-time favorite! Daniel Tosh’s sense of humor is like no other, and Josh Segarra is an impressive storyteller! I started listening to comedy for my anxiety. It’s calming, funny and it makes me happy.
Here are some of my favorite comedians that I recommend listening to! Stand-up comedy can be about anything! It is a way of being self-expressive. It is like making music. What I love most about stand-up is that it is another form of art, an expression of talent, and definitely not easy to do.
Daniel Tosh is an American comedian, television host, voice actor, writer, and executive producer. His third studio album is called Happy Thoughts and it is one of my favorites of his works. Another album that I love and can listen to on repeat is called People Pleaser. All of Tosh’s works are hilarious, his jokes are either about him making fun of himself or others but what makes his work special is the sense of humor, his delivery, and most importantly his persona.
His other album People Pleaser is a little faster compared to Happy Thoughts. When I say I laugh the entire time listening to this podcast I mean it is worth the time! His comedy can be offensive but luckily they just jokes so the more laughs the better. Daniel Tosh is a fantastic comedian! He is one of those comedians you either love or hate depending on your humor! Lucky me I am always down for a good laugh. The way he delivers himself and his persona are right on the spot! I am a fan of his work and even though he can cross the line at times he always makes up for it. He is clever and tells it how it is, and you should take a listen!
The one and only Pete Davidson I am obsessed with! It does not get better than Pete. I’ve been watching Pete since he’s been on SNL (Saturday Night Live). He is funny, has that charm and you will fall in love with his jokes. He is one of a kind. Pete Davidson did a stand-up special called “SMD” Yes I know what comes to mind but the title of his comedy album also happens to be the initials of his father. Pete is just like me, he is brutally honest and he is not afraid to admit it. His delivery is on point and the same with his jokes. Another one of my favorite comedians that I also love to listen to is Tom Segura. Tom Segura is an amazing yet sarcastic storyteller. I admire that he knows how to keep people focused from the start to the end. He is funny, fast and you cannot get bored because you will be too busy laughing! What I love about Tom is that he has a great sense of humor, he has that sarcastic touch. One of my favorite albums from Tom is called Mostly Stories. Out of the three of his albums, this one is my favorite. I laughed all the way through! His mostly story album is a bunch of different stories that honestly may sound boring but what I love about Segura is that he makes it work.
Stand-Up comedy is not easy, but these comedians know how to do it. They all have such funny, sarcastic sense of humor! They know how to read the room and they do an outstanding job!
